About The School
L.A. Translation and Interpretation is a language school founded in 2003 in Los Angeles, CA, U.S.A. with the mission to breakdown language barriers and improve communication among people by training top quality interpreters and translators for courts, hospitals and government agencies in 200+ languages of the world, including Arabic, Armenian, Korean, Mandarin, and Spanish.
The school has produced many of the State of California court certified interpreters and the National Board certified medical interpreters since then.

Welcome From The President
This is a greatest time in human history to become a linguist. With increasing globalization, technological development, information revolution and interdependence, there is an increasing demand for properly trained linguists who can facilitate communication and understanding among people. So many misunderstandings and misperception in international relations result from miscommunication due to language barriers.
Especially in California where more than 40% of residents speak foreign languages at home, there is an overwhelming need for language experts who can facilitate communication especially at courts, hospitals and government agencies. The Mission of L.A. Translation and Interpretation is to provide high quality training for aspiring and active court and medical interpreters to equip them as qualified professionals in the fields.
Since the founding of the school in 2003, we have accumulated valuable human and literature resources to help aspiring interpreters to receive rigorous training to pass the qualifying tests and become certified court and medical interpreters. Our faculty members are all certified interpreters with long experience themselves with MA or PhD. We take pride ourselves in our curriculum of consecutive, sight and simultaneous interpreting developed over decades of education.
Now we offer Court Interpreter Program (Hybrid), Court Interpreter Program (Online) and 40-Hour Medical Interpreting Program. We believe our courses are beneficial in training the interpreters to reach their maximum potential and their clients can benefit from clear and accurate translation and interpreting.
